ADDITIONAL AC 3-TIER BERTHS IN POPULAR LONG DISTANCE TRAINS

·1206 extra 3A berths generated permanently in 9 long-distance trains

Kolkata, 13 June, 2016:-

Airconditioned 3-tier berths has become tremendously popular amongst the travelling public since its inception in Indian Railways. There is constant demands for more Ac 3-tier berths in long-distance trains. In order to fecilitate the passengers, Eastern Railway is attaching o­ne additional Ac 3-tier coach each with nine (9) popular long-distance trains as permanent measure. The augmentation will be done o­n nominated days of run of the trains starting from 14th June, 2016 o­nwards. The trains are as follows:-

1)12327/12328 Howrah-Dehradun Upasana Express

2)12369/12370 Howrah-Haridwar Kumbha Express

3)12353/12354 Howrah-Lalkuan Weekly Express

4)13025/13026 Howrah-Bhopal Express

5)12371/12372 Howrah-Jaisalmer Express

6)13167/13168 Kolkata-Agra Cantonment Weekly Express

7)13145/13146 Kolkata-Radhikapur Express

8)13425/13426 Malda Town –Surat Weekly Express

9)13429/13430 Malda Town-Anandvihar Express

Please note that as a result of this permanent augmentation of o­ne Ac 3-tier coach in 9 pairs of trains, a total number of 1206 extra berths will be made available for the travelling public.
