Halisahar Depot handles around 1002 Nos. stock items and approximately 1082 Nos. non-stock items used in POH (Periodical Overhauling) works of EMU, ICF, and Motor coaches, etc., at Kanchrapara Workshop under SDAH Division. Moreover, HLR Stores Depot functions as one of the major scrap depots of Eastern Railway. It contributes significantly to Railway revenue through auctions and direct sales to other railways and production units (PUs).
