IT Centre/KPA is headed by Sri Animesh Ghosh, EDPM/KPA.
EDPM/KPA is the Administrative Incharge of IT Centre. Co-ordinate with outside firms, HQ office, CRIS, RCIL, for effective implementation, imparting training and trouble shooting of existing package and any newly introduced package at workshop level. Monitoring, processing of pay-rolls for approximate 7078 staffs including officers and printing of various payroll vouchers of Kanchrapara Railway workshop, E. Rly.
Looking after the total functioning of incentive card (squad and piece) entry, incentive processing, validation, freezing and posting of calculated amount into salary on monthly basis. Workshop General Register and Revised costing of Electric Loco POH. Updating of KPA Website, twitter handling for public grievance. Monitoring of internet and LAN networking. Technical vetting of different IT assets to be procured by different BOs of KPA workshop. Centralized AMC of PC and peripherals as well as AMC of Networks etc.
